The Commons Club
Major celebrations took place at the Town Center… community special events, picnics and social activities. The Town Center helped create a sense of belonging and helped move life at a friendlier pace. Within the Town Center at The Brooks, you will find the educational, recreational and cultural amenities of the city wrapped in the warmth and convenience of a traditional small town village. This is the heart of The Brooks community where activity and social events revolve around lifestyle similar to a friendly small town setting.
The Town Center is situated in a park-like setting with walkways, a playground and an interactive fountain that lead towards the peace and privacy of the lake. All paths lead to Rosie Spoonbill’s Restaurant, the Fitness Center and Spa and the Enrichment Center.
The Beach Club
The Beach Club is a dramatic natural environment where our Members and their Guests can enjoy swimming, sunning, shelling, bird watching, fishing and breathtaking sunsets surrounded by white sand and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.
The Beach Team is responsible for setting up and taking in lounges, sand chairs and umbrellas for all Members and their Guests. In addition to the beach equipment, the facility has picnic tables, charcoal grills, restrooms, showers, baby changing stations and a Snack Bar.
You can make reservations for your next beach get together by calling the Beach Club. Reservations are accepted for groups up to 75 people and can be made up to 60 days in advance.
The Snack Bar’s menu includes hotdogs, mini pizzas, chicken sandwiches, ice cream, soda, water and smoothies. In addition, during the months of October – April, the menu expands to include various sandwiches and salads prepared daily at Rosie Spoonbill’s.

Rosie Spoonbill’s is The Commons Club charming private “Everglades themed” waterfront restaurant well-known for its unique ambience. Members and their guests relax in this lush setting, courtesy of the restaurant’s spectacular views of Upland Island, surrounded by The Brook’s historic flow way where local wildlife plays among the native trees, splashes in the sparkling waters and suns on the Village Green. Members immerse themselves in what can only be called…the Rosie Spoonbill’s Charm!
Enjoy fabulous food served “al fresco” on one of the private lanais or under ”The Nest”, our tent covered waterfront dining area. Members and guests dine inside under a canopy of Florida Everglades themed décor. Enjoy our Chef’s enthusiasm as they prepare delicious signature items in our energetic open kitchen design. Each season, Rosie Spoonbill’s offers members a variety of venues for creating memorable dining experiences. Unique to Rosie Spoonbill’s is our weekly live acoustic entertainment – “Rosie’s Unplugged”. Join the fun under “The Nest”, as members dine while enjoying the music of local entertainers.
